Three Short Films about Bicycles | Art Hop 2012

We’re getting excited about the Art Hop. I already introduced you to Gerrit Göllner, the incredibly inspiring mixed media artist-in-residence.

Now, here’s a sneak peak at Maglianero’s cycling film screenings.

Friday, Sept. 7 | 6:00 – 9: 00 PM

Saturday, Sept. 8 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Georgena Terry is a 6 minute film about the founder of Terry Bicycles, the original women’s bicycling company directed by Amanda Zackem.

Cycling for Art is a 5 minute tour through Scottsdale, AZ’s Cycle the Arts event – similar to our beloved Art Hop. Filmed  by Paul O’Neil, it documents the positive collision of cycling and art.

Bike Recycle Vermont is an 8 minute exploration of the culture and mission of Bike Recycle Vermont, a non-profit bike shop in Burlington, directed by Lily Dosina Acosta and Yosniel Lopez.

You’re invited to join us at Maglianero on Friday and Saturday. Then, head upstairs to the JDK Gallery to see the fruits of Gerrit Göllner’s collaboration with Bill Davison.
